Claims Administrator
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Claims Administrator to join our growing claims team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals interested in launching a career in insurance and gaining hands-on experience in claims handling. What You'll Do
* Monitor and manage a dedicated claims inbox on a daily basis
* Open new claim files and enter loss information into the claims system
* Prepare and send written acknowledgments to insureds, brokers, captive managers, and other stakeholders
* Participate in a comprehensive training program covering claim investigation, liability assessment, and damage evaluation
* Review policy coverage and assist in drafting claim approvals, denials, and closures
* Attend claim reviews and Claim Committee conference calls
* Provide administrative and claims support to the team as assigned
What We're Looking For
* 1-3 years of experience in a call center, customer service, sales, or another fast-paced environment
* High school diploma or GED required
* Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to analyze information, think critically, and make sound decisions
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
* Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
* Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working in a team environment
* Willingness to invest in career growth, including obtaining adjuster licenses if required
